Guar Gum Applications

Guar gum is a low-cost, polysaccharide thickener, which finds extensive use in the food industry.  It is a natural product, which is high in soluble fiber and has a long and safe history of use as a food ingredient.  Guar gum provides rapid viscosity development in cold water and is generally compatible with most other water-soluble gums and food ingredients.

Guar Gum works to texturize and lend “body” to processed foods without increasing fat or calorie contents.
